Editorial standards
Useful ideas. Clear responsibility.
These are the proposed editorial standards for the Picnic Times relaunch.
Real people and real contributions
Vlad Davniuk is Founder & Publisher. Picnic Times Editorial is a collective byline. Personal names, qualifications, visits, interviews, and product tests must correspond to actual contributions and events.
AI use
AI can support research, drafting, editing, translation, illustration, and production. It is not presented as a human contributor or first-hand reporting. The publisher remains accountable for what is released.
Sources and practical information
Before publication, factual claims should be checked against relevant sources. Rules, opening arrangements, and other changing practical details should refer readers to the responsible official source. A concept or hypothetical example should be labeled as such.
Dates and corrections
Publication and review dates should reflect actual publication and substantive review. To request a correction, send the material title or link, the passage, and a source or explanation through the editorial contact.
Find the publisher and editorial contactCommercial relationships
Sponsored work, affiliate relationships, or other commercial interests should be disclosed clearly wherever they affect a material. Disclosure is not a substitute for a supported claim.
